| Get down and dirty again
For those of you who were too wrapped up in Reagan's prostate surgery at the time or have never spoken to an American girl since, they made a movie about dancing 20 years ago, and they called it "Dirty Dancing." The guy from "Red Dawn" and Ferris Bueller's sister were in it, and they learned to do a dance at summer camp in the '60s that would light dance floors on fire and set parents on edge. Unplugged: Plain rain
A slow, drizzling rain reminds me that sometimes we have to do without sunshine and make do with the kind of day that is handed us. Today is one of those times, and so I use it for future planning (in addition to writing a column) and for reflection on the recent and ancient past.
